We welcome Mickey Klink as our NEW Senior Pastor. He and his family have arrived in Roscoe and Pastor Mickey began his ministry at Hope July 14.
Mickey Klink has come to us following his year of teaching as Associate Professor of New Testament at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, where he had been teaching for nearly a decade. He also served as Associate Pastor at Calvary Community Church in southern California. A native of Rockford, IL, he has a BA from Trinity International University and MDiv and ThM from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a PhD in New Testament from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland.
His wife of fourteen years, Laura, is a native of Wisconsin and Minnesota, and they have three children: Jacob (9), Benjamin (7) and Ruth (2). He is the author of four books, ordained by the EFCA, and a devout Chicago Bears fan. He and his family enjoy being active in nature.
Please be in prayer for the family as they adjust to Roscoe, new schools, SNOW and ministry at Hope.
