Hope’s older adults partner with CASA (Christian Association of Serving Adults) Ministries and Significant Living to promote living the second half of life in service and not just in leisure. We want to interact with the various ministries of the church and use our experiences and wisdom to benefit the body of Christ. We serve in a number of minsitries at Hope.
We attend conferences that encourage us to finish running our race strong, seeking to leave a legacy for those who come behind us.
We have used our talents to help others in need – traveling to New Orleans to help with the Katrina relief ministry or building a portable shower unit for the Free Church Compassion ministry to use in other disaster areas. We strive to help people in the church family when they need someone to come along side and do particular work project.
We meet for fellowship and inspiration every second Tuesday at noon, August through June. We have an Adult Bible Fellowship (Transitions at 10:45 AM Sundays) that seeks to study and apply God’s Word to the issues we face in our generation, and to develop relationships where we will support and encourage one another in prayer.
