Staff

Katie is Boone County born and raised, and currently lives on a grain and poultry farm with her family — Carl,  Evelyn (2005), and Julia (2007). Katie started attending Hope in 1991, and returned to Hope in 2018, after spending 15 years in Indiana with her husband Carl. There they attended university, started a family, worked at IWU and had lots of adventures together. Katie has a BS in chemistry and a Masters of Environmental Science degree, and never dreamt she would work at a church. She enjoys so much in this beautiful life: including hiking with family and friends, reading, concerts, eating with people, playing games, camping, and learning new things.
