Staff

Debbie became part of the Hope family in 1991. Over the years, she has enjoyed serving in a variety of ministries as a way to connect with her Hope family and grow in Christ: AWANA Club, VBS, pre-school to senior high school Sunday school classes, and Senior Saints. Most recently, she has served in Moms Group and with Missions. Debbie joined the Hope staff in February 2020.

She feels blessed by the many women at Hope who have invested in her life and her family’s life. She has a heart for women of all ages and struggling families.  In 1989, Debbie married her husband Jack the same year she graduated from Trinity University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Human Resources.  She worked in management for several years then later traded in her hat for homeschooling.  Together they were blessed to raise their two children with the support and encouragement of their Hope family.  In 2015, she felt led to earn an ESL Certification and began teaching English and sharing the Gospel with people from many different nations. God used this time to enlarge her heart for the church and to be more Kingdom-minded. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, encouraging others, and remaining a student for God’s glory.
